I just tested the .chm forum archive,
One small remark, the [.quote.] blocks are being displayed as normal text (as if they were written by the poster), it can be a bit confusing..

Other than that though, looks great.

I see what you mean doug. Unfortunately the same thing occurs in the "real" Archives feature, which is from what I created the .chm file. That archives feature is actually a php script which displays the forum threads in a slightly different format, and I guess the 'quote' notation is lost.

I'll look into that, maybe the script can be modified, or maybe I can generate the .chm file from the original threads instead. If I can figure out a way to autogenerate a .chm index file from the original search index built into the database, I may try to incorporate a search feature as well. (It's my first .chm file

It would probably be a good idea to whine about it to vBulletin themselves, and they might just fix it. Does anyone in possession of the vBulletin support forum credentials feel up to it?

I searched that forum last night and surprisingly there was no mention of the no-quote problem at all in any regard to the Archives feature. Nor of any sort of ice cream maker...

I guess it's time someone told them about both then...
