Is it possible to load NTICE manual ?
Under W9X it was possible to have only Core files
(winice.exe,siwvid.386,winice.dat)
in one Folder and load winice.exe dureing
startup sequence in the dosshell.
What do i need to do under WXP ??
Copy NTICE.SYS, SIWVID.SYS, WINICE.DAT
(hmm SIWSYM.SYS) to \system32\drivers\
but how to start them manually ??
Anyone has an answer ?

Due to the early loading stage of these drivers, you cannot load them manually after startup (correct me if I'm wrong anyone). You can make a nice and handy tool that enables/disables these drivers and reboots the system though, which is probably the closest you can get.

net start ntice
if you set softice to load manually and not on boot that is
siwvid still has to load before boot tho, but the softice configuration does that for you

Yes, that's what I meant, you cannot get away with not loading
any of the drivers at boot time. And of course, any protector worth his name will then detect the ones that have to be loaded (and I assume anti-detection is the main issue here, what else?

).

Not the dection thig, but the hole Registry Crap !
There must me another way to load it as a system driver
Must study now the new DS31
BTW Anyone noticed the new Routine in DS31 of the
UnhandledExceptionFilter Thing
(Funny seems Com*uware is reading some Tutors too)

Exactly which registry entries are you talking about, and what kind of trouble are they causing you?

Run a Registry Tracker before & after installation.
Most of the Reg-Entries are not needed at all,
delete them(not all !!!) & you will see Softice is running
EDIT:
It would be 100% stupid to del these HKLM/SYSTEM !!!
Withot reverse some files do not del these one HKLM/SOFTWARE/NU*EGA
With little Tricks NTICE would load with only 1 Reg Entry !!
Maby i should wine elsewhere

Err, yeah, good advice... And then please come here and whine about strange things happening with your Softice. While you're at it, delete the files in the Windows directory too (not all !!!), most of them aren't needed most of the time anyway.
And again, exactly what is the problem with the Softice registry entries, and how is it connected to starting the drivers manually or not?!

I understood initial question so:
"can I without normal installing, but simply putting files in new NT-system
make runnig ntice?"
mostly no.

Try this
Load after normal install, dump core file(most stuff inside data),
fill core files with right stuff, uninstall DS .
Reverse & think about & load ntice (without registry)
