Did you, by any chance, read the BIG RED LETTERS at the top of the Forums and READ the FAQ??? Did you, by any chance, make the slighest effort to help yourself and search here and/or on the net for the answer to your own question? Did you consider, perhaps, actually going to the M$ website and review the thousands of pages available there or perhaps, gasp, use their search function and enter "MFC Library Functions"?

This is not the place where "dudes" want to do all your basic research for you or manage for you the most basic of searching problems. Even the most basic search of the net would have led you to titles, such as "The definitive guide to Microsoft Foundation Class(MFC) library" and many, many others, and then you could have done your own search of available ebooks and papes on this subject. Come on 'dude." Get with the program.
