If you're willing to read between the lines of a Babelfish translation, yes, definitely, it's a fine site. Even a bad translation there is more understandable than many of the In-glitch posts we get here, n that incl00dz the annoyingly lazy l33t style d00d..

Maybe the DDOS attacks resumed when everyone announced they were back.

I did access the site several times this morning, but is it not available at the moment.

Well, of course, the DDoS is still here, but despite it we are not going to close. The wasm was, is and will be!

I'm surprised you missed it, even without a translation

yea I remember seeing them regularly putting up offline versions
thought it was completely shut down :P
Last time I tried it, there was a 2 lines message in russian.
(btw, the offline version doesn't include any files..)
I was thinking about something like Immortal Descendants (7meg ID-RIP.zip with everything)
thanks.

There is sth wrong with your connection. Offline version contains all the articles WITHOUT the files. No files. The resources are different here and in Russia. As I know both countries, I can compare. No any russian site will post files in the separate file. Doesn't make much sence.
As to the stability - we are sorry. I do realize it is not the best way of doing things, but DDoS is not stopping...

volodya,
Perhaps a mirror of wasm.ru would be a good idea? Or zipped site uploaded here?

Hello, Tom. Glad to hear you, old buddy.
Probably yes... But there are several difficulties.
1) The content may be prohibited in USA. Not that many cracks or warez but still...
2) DDoS will be switched to the mirror as well. It is personal...
3) I myself and three more people from wasm team must TRUST the mirror owners.
The last topic is the most serious one.

A Linux box with iptables (before Web server) can help a bit about DDoS.

The best defence is counterattack by publishing some names

The best defence is to find this mothefucker and put his balls into his ass.

In what way must you trust them, and in what way would this be important? Seems to me that keeping a copy of already public files can't really be abused in many ways even if you try?
Just curious...
