I've got a problem with unpacking an app protected "PC-Guard 4.03 - 4.15 -> Blagoje Ceklic" (PEiD 0.92)...
I'm using DS 3.0 with IceExt 0.57 and if program registration window is loaded and I'm popping SoftIce up my system (XP) is frozen...
Pop SoftIce up without program loaded won't cause that...
Does anyone know how to bypass this?
Thanks

Have you already tried searching the forums using keywords such as "softice detection" and/or "softice hiding" and/or "hiding softice"? AFTER you have done some searching on your own, come back with a more specific question.

Found out a few things :
SoftICE Detection :
hxxp://members.v3space.com/blackfenix/htoprote.html
With IceExt 0.60 I don't have problems anymore
(added new anti-detection method discovered in Armadillo protector)
and it has tetris
So thread can be closed ...

For those who may not have noticed, Sten's IceExt 0.60 is available at Wasm.ru. They are still under DDOS attack, so you may have to keep trying.

Does anyone knows whether the program is unpacked before you get Registration Window of PCGW32.DLL or after it ?
Can you unpack it if it is in evaluation mode ?
Because I don't know exactly what the OEP of this program is.
PEid can't find it...
I'm working with SI...
