Someone has made a _big_ mistake by publishing that. GT will surely change FlexLM in next versions and all info will be outdated

Just took a look at that source code. My reacation? I said to myself: WTF?!! But it's all in K&R C?!!!
I always hated the spagetti code FlexLM programmers have had made but now it seems that yet in 21st century, they are using the oldest possible methods to program! Not even using prototypes?! F*CK! F*CK! F*CK!
They just sit there, read the message boards and add more spagetti code to patch the newest found way to crack their lame code. Just look at the vendor structure, over the time it has been growing in a rather exponential way! And yet it is has so many holes like a swiss cheese. No guys, I don't think they CAN fix it in just another version. If I was at Macrovion, I would fire all those bastards and cleared the CVS and started all over again!

I think flexlm users got a problem now if it's true that it is leaked.
I was snooping around on google and saw this http://www.x-formation.com
which is usable as a flexlm extention and provide extra security. Does any of you know about that?
Have a nice day.

I've downloaded it, so I know for certain it's definitely out there. Must say though, I was suprised by the coding style. Seems like it was written by a few college kids as one of there assignments (wait, no, it's worse than that), and then patched up as and when the cracks and patches become available.
Compare this to the leaked WinNT/2K source, and you notice a big difference.
Needless to say, after looking at the code for a small amount of time, I quickly become bored and deleted it.

Is it possible to have a look at some of those source code or any place to get them? I'm quite curious about that "kiddy programming style"

I thought that ONLY real experts make that code
Maybe that give us hope to be in one of those big companies with our current programming style

Alorent:
Go back out the the start page of this Forum and READ the part which states:
Do not ask where to get the Tools of our Trade. Do not even think about asking for them.
The Diety invented search engines so you could try to finds things such as this, but I suspect, seeking instant gratification and ignoring the rules, you have not even tried to find it yourself. Even if you do not find it, do NOT ask for it here.

Hi JMI,
Sorry for that. I made a search but I found nothing. I must be really bad searching for things on the net
Anyway, I was just asking for a piece of code where they could show us the coding style of those programmers. It was more a matter of curiosity not for "WAREZing"
Thanks for the remind.
