View Full Version : MAC Dongle Possible?

I have an older software package (1995) that was upgraded with new software (1999). In order to run either package it requires a 1 time serial # input, which I have, and a Microguard Plus dongle. The dongle is ADB and Mac doesn't have ADB any longer. I use an ADB - USB adapter but now the driver for that is not compatable with the new OS which prohibits me from upgrading my computer. Neither software is sold currently.

Is it possible to crack this so that the software can be used without the dongle?

Thanks
ejh

It is possible to crack a Dongle protected software, but difficult to tell how doable it is without further details.
If I understand you correctly, this is an Apple Machintosh cracking excercise, which I know very little about.

Yes it is a Apple Mac. The dongle is a Microguard Plus which was made by micro macro. They were bought by Aladdin and are not made anymore (as far as I know)
