I want to ask the experts of this forum if there is anyway to make a copy of the CD or even to crack it.

You are apparently so anxious to achieve your goal you failed to see, or at least read the BIG RED LETTERS at the top of the Forums and have not read the FAQ. This is not the place to come if you are looking for someone to do the work for you and/or if you have done nothing to try to help yourself solve your problem and shown some of your own work. Time for you to do some study and searching on your own and then ask a more focused question.

Thanks JMI
First of all, I did my best trying to copy the CD, I tried much with almost all the trade tools.
That is why I asked first if anyone can help me with copying it.
Else
i asked if it is possible to reverse it, or if anyone reversed it, I didnt ask anyone to do the job for me, I am just asked for GUIDLINES, and this is the newbie forum where I can ask such quistion (as I thought).
Thanks again MR. JMI

According to your statements, you haven't "TRIED" anything other than clicking on someone else's ready made tools to see if they will permit you to copy a relatively new copy-protection system. If you are trying to say you have examined the copy protection with a debugger, that is not what you have said. If you just want an answer to the question of whether it "can" be cracked, the answer is obviously "yes." Given enough time and talent, anything that runs on the computer can, eventually be broken. Whether or not someone has actually done this with this protection 'really" isn't your question. What you "really" want is someone to tell you how, or help you do that and until you show that you are actually "working" at defeating the protection system "yourself," you are not likely to find what you seek here.

Yes Mr. JMI
I am just tried with ready made tools for copying protected tools (I didnt say another thing).
I know also that any program is brekable with some time and effort.
As I am newbie, all what do I am asking about is a tutorial or any description of the laserlock protection for the newest or even old versions Also if there is anyway to copy the CD.
and for now, dont u have such material ?
Anyway Thanks again.

It appears that all you want to do is argue with me, instead of doing what I suggested you do in my first post in this thread, which was that you READ THE BIG RED LETTERS at the top of the forums, including the FAQ and then do what it suggests. Among those suggestion is that you "SEARCH" for the answer to your question BEFORE you ask. Did you read any of the threads here which will be discovered by entering "laserlock" into the search button? Did you go on the net and enter "laserlock + crack*" in your favorite search engine, or do you expect someone to do that work for you?
What I am suggesting is that you demonstrate that you are not too lazy to do some simple searching on your own before you ask someone else to do that for you. No one appears to have written a tool for you to use to copy your CD so if you want to actually "learn" how to do that, you have a long road ahead of you. No one will simply take you by the hand and show you how to do that. At least not here.

Be more specific on what Version of Marathon you have plz (v2/v3).
Some Infos should be available on that in the PE-File.
And what did you do by now to remove it at all

Well.. I had 3 or 4 Marathon Protected Games/Apps with Marathon v2 / v3.
V2 / V3 require different Types of rebuilding / dumping and the Apps even had some more Improvements and also have been Laserlocked MSI Installers if i remind right.

havent seen that many laserlok protected things tho the v2 and v3 i had didnt need any changes in dumping/rebuilding, except for the oones that used their pesky dll later on in the game, catch at critical moment dump, resume, catch at oep, dump.. compare dumps shows u the code that was changed for his 'floating imports'.. rebuild

Indeed a good Way to find the relinked Instruction Addresses.
But for v2 for Example you have to code some Call/Jmp Resolver that will hook Laserlock Code and replace the Calls/Jmps to the Laserlock Wrapper with the Adress of its real ThunkEntry.
But but,its no real Fun at all
