I am having a problem with a programe that has been licenced once and now I cant remove the licence.

I have uninstalled/reinstalled the programe - - no good
I have checked the reg and removed any referanece to the programe- no good

have searched for files that were created at the time of licencing --no good



I have run out of idieas can any one PLEASE HELP!!

And have you, by any chance, looked at the code using either a debugger or a disassembler to see what it is checking to find that it has been previously installed? Have you, by any chance, thought of using the Search button here to seek threads on "registration checking" or "Trial expiration" or some such entries???

Have you attempted to think about the issue logically? At some point the program has to "create" a "hidden" registry file or a file that it checks to see if it has already been licensed. Have you tried both filemon and/or regmon to see what they reveal? Does it use a particular protection system?

Have you read the FAQ? You have not explained very well exactly what you have actually tried. How about you do a little "searching" in the Forums and then come back with a more focused question and a better explaination of what you have done to try to help yourself.

Oh, and DO NOT post the name of your target at this point.
