I have encounter a problem recently Which is with sentinel super pro dongle,god damn it!
The target is <target name removed> update(it actualy updates version 6.5 to 7) the program itself has no use for me but i want to gain experience with sentinel dongles while many great applications out there have this protection.
well i haven't got the version 6.5 itself on my computer installed, but the program seems to not care about it!any way when you run the program it first nags about not finding the hardware lock,well after a quick look at source code and patching _RNBOfindfirstunit function and some flags,it asks for a correct license.key file.
So is this license.key some kind of rainbow license file or field actions activation?
As far as i get the program reads cell 0 of the dongle at the begining and copies it to different locations but it never performs an actual comparison and then again call a routine which first reads this cell again and then i think it expects some encrypted code from license.key and put it together with cell 0 it then determins the program's flow??!
plz guys help me with this as you have always helped me find the answers.

For a given application.exe, How to find Spro quries, algo, thier seed codes?
Do you have any tools to find these queries.

It was a long time agon since i worked on that application,I actully don't remeber much now,but in general it is very simple(you just have to read sentinel api guide and also you nedd to have rainbow signatures for ida).
I have them all and i can send it to your mail address if you want.
if there is a particular problem then mail it to me or post it to the forum.
