Considering the amount of SoftICE support we do over here on this board (display not working, I got this OS and that OS why will ice not work, etc) do you think we should ask for support royalty from Numega?

Any ideas for rates?

(Hell, if McDonalds guy spills tea and client gets burnt, client files lawsuit and wins!! If this kinda things is done in US, hows the above suggestion to get rich quick??)

Woodmann, should you get royalties from Numega, do not forget my part

I doubt any of the support here goes to paying customers.

firstly, numega doesn't exist anymore. if we were to get royalties from anybody, it would be from compuware.

secondly, compuware wouldn't pay us royalties because:
(1) they never asked us to provide such advice
(2) most of the people we're helping are not paying customers (as Aquatic said above)
(3) compuware would not endorse our advice since most people who answer questions here are not paying customers and if compuware did endorse us and someone gave a wrong answer to a question, compuware could possibly be held liable
