Have you ever encounter a security system with "hardware key + flexlm"??
i found [downtvdd.dll ds1410d.sys keyread.txt] files somewhere like: programpath:\lmsetup\licmgr\xxxxslm1 where xxxx is the application name.
I have cracked the calls for hardlock key and program works fine with normal capabilities but it has several disabled capabilities too,and i don't know what to do with them.... any hint????
there is nothing like lmgrv or [flex stuff] ,so i can't understand what kind of security is this?!

Hiya,

FLEXlm can interface with hardware locks via the FLEXID switch on the license line. Those that Macrovision support are HASP/Sentinel & what you have drivers for, the DS (Dallas SemiConductor iButton) device.

You don't really say whether the iButton works separately from FLEXlm or whether there is actually FLEXlm in the protection scheme, does lmver report anything? for example.

Its really difficult for anyone to help you much further from the scant information provided.
