Howdy,

There is no way to know but, it would be reasonable that
it is he. There are a few clues

because F+ did NOT suggest to dine at Macdonalds ..... so you assume 'he can be old man'

Chimay, I like this beer!
There are some great beers from Belgium, they know how to make beers

Pierre (from datarescue) is 100% trying to defend the product (ida) insted of actually mass marketing it
fravia, was nice for him to offer a dinner and making a nice discussion and well insted of actually being interested he still tries to say how ida is this. and that.. heh.
go figure,

i would take the offer to get a free meal and some drink (water.. no beers!!!.. yuk )

exactly because fravia offers dinner to person, who already "skipped" once such like offer,
i assumed he is old man (too much tollerant);
if i will offer someone something & s-he will say word: "skip",
2nd time will not happens at least in good condition;
in bad condition i can "skip" noise on "skipper's" face;

i'm sure that if pierre were to have accepted the invitation, it could be seen in the eyes of some of datarescue's customers as pierre condoning piracy or other unethical uses of ida because of how many people associate fravia's old site. i see pierre's decision as a business decision, not a personal snub.

could be, but he can't ignore the fact is that IDA is widely used for 'reversing' matters.
discussing about reversing won't budge ida it self a bit, it can only help.
