i'm a complete newbie so please bear with me. i'm tring to crack " window waher v4.0" http://www.webroot.com/washer.htm, you can also download it from tucows. my question is this.

I have been able to find the memory location to patch thru softice, but i don't have a clue as how to unpack the the program so that all of my offsets compare. it's basically a time trial protection scheme. thanks for any help in advance.

Instead of getting Unpacker from Protools, you can choose ProcessPatcher from the site as your choise.

and how about learning to unpack ?
