Hi all!

I've disassembled some evalution/rental software which uses a dongle to turn it into a full version and serial codes to continously extend it's rental/trial life,

these codes change intermittently when trying to run it when it has timed out! the idea is you contact the vendor give them the codes you are presented with at the nag and they give you a fresh set of codes which corresponde with the codes at the nag to extend the rental/trial period,

depending on what codes you are given depends on how much longer you are given to evaluate/rent the software.

I've used W32dsm to disassemble this software and my question is where are these serial codes hiding and do I need any additional tools to extact this codes?

You just discovered the working method of shareware. The reason behind all this is to let
you try before you buy... That's why they expire after a certain period of time. The nag
you saw for entering the serial is commonly used by honest buyers to register their programs.

The different codes which may give different versions depend probably about the type of
licence people want to buy. You have to understand that a single User shouldn't pay as much
as probably an enterprise with +100 workers. Good reason for inserting different methods of
payement and "codes".

In your disassembled listing have a look at .00425F9 ... Does something look suspicious?

I had already cracked the proggie to use Illegally but thats not what I'm trying to accomplish, trying to understand how the programme works is what I'm tring to do! after all that is what this is all about!

lighten up man, some of us don't have the powers of JC to be able to just pull an address out of the air from "I've disassembled some
evalution/rental software....". For me, part of what made the original Sandman's site so enjoyable was people didn't take themselves so seriously, for f*ck sake its just a hobby not a vocation.

2. We may have been able to help more if you'd given us a download URL, or at least told us what program you were looking at. Without knowing what program, which version or even what dongle you need help w/, it was impossible to help. If the address JC gave was helpful, it was pure coincidence LOL

You have to get the insight... You have to take the coincidences seriously and be aware of
the awareness as something real. Then when you define the physical universe as one of pure
energy you will be able to remediate your shortage of energy while connecting to the higher
source. In my case I had a mystical experience that allowed me to briefly see the magnitude

ok I am a newbie but honestly I have read all the tutorial on 'Celestine Prophecy' and I keep getting lost in the code, no matter what I try I keep getting a different address, only thing I can think of is its a different version of 'Celestine Prophecy' to yours and the author has changed the protection.
To anyone new around here, no one is laughing/taking the p*ss, (this reply to JC is really laughing at myself). Try and look at it that if the poster doesn't answer your question then perhaps he doesn't know, but at least showed an interest.

Its been brought to our attention, you reversere/crackers are having too much fun and it must stop.
