I would suggest you quit looking for a step by step recipe, either for the method for removing the time limit, or for someone to give you the proper search parameters.
Let's say NO ONE has EVER figured out how to remove the time limit from this protection. What would you do then? How about starting at square one and using standard classic reversing techniques? By now you *should* have already gotten as much information as possible using Filemon, Regmon, an API monitor, a Message Spy, etc... Protection detects these? Figure out a way to hide them.
At least *some* of the info obtained from these tools should give you a clue what to look for. But let's say you still can't quite figure out how this hypothetical never-before-cracked protection sets a time limit. *Now* is the time you come to us, outline what you have done and what you have discovered, and ask for help.
Where do I get off saying this? Well besides being good advice, it *appears* that you haven't progressed past glancing at the search hits that Woodmann gave you. He used "vbox 4.6.2" only. If I use "vbox Olly*" I get a few hits not listed in the first search and 'time limit' is specifically discussed in some of them. What about trying 'vbox + time limit or trial or expired or...' what do you get?
If I simply use "vbox" I get 99 hits! Ah, but you don't want to read through 99 posts do you? Can't really blame you, but that's not the point, you need to be willing to put in the work if you can't find a ready answer, and that includes using other tools to do your own reversing research.
Like Woodmann said, people need feedback from you on what you have read and tried and why it didn't help, as opposed to simply reciting the ever popular 'I searched' disclaimer.
