i don't think so... well, why than all the people all over the world use english to comunicate?

i am form croatia and think that english is one of easiest if not the most easy one. why?
well, in croatian there is so much tenses and suffixes to words... it's really hard...
i heard some neighbour languages(hungaryan, italian, slovenian, german) and all of them seams not so easy as english...
at least to me
