Hi all there,
I am a beginner level learner. I heard a lot about bruteforcing but din't know anything about it. Can you suggest me a beginner level tutorial which deals with how to write bruteforcing code in asm and how to insert that code inside any target?

Welcome to the Board. Now the FIRST thing you need to do is back-up a step and notice those BIG RED LETTERS on the opening page. Within that sentence you will see a reference to the FAQ and the comment that you should actually read it and search before you post. But you were in such a hurry to ask your question, you just blew right on by, now didn't you.

So, time to go back and actually read the FAQ and learn how things are supposed to be done around here. Try using the SEARCH button at the top of the Forums, as is suggested by that FAQ, enter the word "bruteforcing" (without the quotes) and you will find several threads discussing this issue.

If you "wannabe" a cracker, you have to learn how to search the net. If you don't know how to do that, there is a link to a site know as "Searchlore" which is run by the original founder/inspiration of this site. There you will learn how to search more effectively.

However, this is not a difficult search topic at all. Just go to your favorite search engine and enter; "bruteforcing and tutorial" (again without the quotes) and you will find plenty to read, including several tutorials included in some of the collections linked at the bottom of these Forums.

I've looked all the web but could't find the info all looked for. There're some tuts but none of them beginner/newbie level.

Why don't you try searching Google with the words:

Icezelion Tutorials

You should get some good tuts on the asm/C++ part. They even have a phorum for that sorta thingy.

And you couldn't possibly have "looked all the web" and found no "beginner/newbie" tutes using the search terms I gave you. The second in my search results is a tut which resides on our own server.

Tutorial #1TUTORIAL #1 Published by +Tsehp. ... INTRODUCTION: Today we are going to learn how to make a crappy bruteforcing keygen type thingy for a high end app. ...

www.woodmann.net/krobar/beginner/193.html

Notice the word after "krobar."

There is also this one, also on our server, but here reference to a copy elsewhere:

http://fravia.anticrack.de/along_01.htm

Now if you mean a tut written for someone who doesn't know squat about assembly language programming, then you really are only talking about a tut on how to use a bruteforce cracking program somebody else wrote for you, because that would be pretty mych the limit of what your skill set would be, and again those can be found on the net.

I've already found that links when I searched the web as already said before. Anyway thanks for fast replies.
