i need to hide si in win xp
i tried iceext, but i can't seem to use it..
the !protect command is not found....when i laod si thou iceext...
and i donno any other ways to hide it....

JMI was at dinner when you posted, but observed the post and doug's reply this morning and thought it was not necessary for me to beat him up any further.

And who would have thunk it. Similar threads right there in plain sight of God and everybody. Hello, Knock, Knock, are you people looking down there??? I guess that's why we turned the feature on. So you could find "similar threads" even without searching.

how does the "similar threads" feature work?
Does it automagically zero in on key words and bring other threads that contain those same keys?
Or is it manually set up by JMI when he is not at dinner?

Its a function of the search index and is automatic. It does, however depend on the current state of that index and is not very intuitive.

how do i protect a breakpoint wiht iceext?

i don't ahve SI right now so i wanted to get some info before installing it again....(gotta find)

read the help file of iceext... !protect is the command to hide sice e.g. against int 1 detection this command has no additional parameters.

What version of do you have?
What version of IceExt?

Do you run IceExt manually? It does not load automatically!

Once loaded can you run any other ! command? how about !tetris?

The command is !protect on it is off by default at start.

The readme of IceExt is not completely clear, but it is rather thorough.
