This is only info, not a post.
Last time i have application that doesn't work on hdd. Message that application can only work on CD won't disappear. I've tried to find fuction GetDriveTypeA, but no results. I've tried other ways to crack it, but nothing happens. And guess what kind of security was in that application. Program was checking attributes of files. If attribs was read-only program works correctly...

I'm sorry to be the one to tell you son, but that is most definitely a post.

Funny crappy protection anyway.

Jaha, eftersom den här tråden på något konstigt sätt blev en språkuppvisning får väl jag inte vara sämre då... Det här är inte ett inlägg. Läderkalsonger.

All these may be loosly translated as:

"I'm padding my post count."

I kind of focussed on what this board is all about and tried to reverse your usage of online translation services for that one - but yet to no avail.
At least Babelfish gives some different results for english to german and french to german translations.
Btw, "Pfosten" actually means sth. like 'lamp post' and is sometimes used as a swear word for someone who didn't act very cleverly ('Du Pfosten!').
So, who's able to tell

1. which translator has been used here
and
2. what was the exact input passed to it?

..jamming 2 pencils...

Perhaps should be titled The Art of Reversing Art?

While I'm still chewing on the deep philosophical meaning of "aesthetics of a critical pedagogy", this line struck me nicely as an underlying benefit of the RE games we play:

"The consequence is that one’s habitual unreflective ways of viewing the world are changed. The model of this experience can be used to form a critical consciousness with new understandings of work, self and others."

And what of the pipe?

"If one takes the claim of the title “This is Not a Pipe” seriously, three things emerge: (1) “This” particular painting of a pipe does not stand for or represent any of that class of objects found in the world, that are called pipes; (2) “This” the sentence itself could not not represent a pipe; (3) “This” mixed element of discourse and image, written pipe and drawn text “is not a pipe.”

"What is the point? Foucault wants to show how the systems of imagery and language cancel each other in Magritte’s painting."

Reminds me somewhat of that puzzler - several balls of different color, each one labelled with a *word* which represents the wrong color. A yellow ball is labelled "Green", a blue ball "Red", etc. While looking at the picture, try saying out loud the true colors of the balls and it is very difficult. Again one needs to separate imagery from language.

Perhaps the clever Search games may yet appear ever and anon?

pppsssttt... Don't tell dELTA about the "pipe" O.K.??? He's already tried to smoke it. Or, at least, he "thinks" he has.

pyrae,

I didn't use a translation engine I'm having German in my repertoire of foreign languages, and Lederhosen along with Sauerkraut is just a little tagalong for anything german, close to the word "well" in the english language.

I'm glad someone got the pipe joke.

And here you thought it was just a postcount pad, you philistine! I can't say I'm big into French surrealist art, but I've always liked that painting in a certain reality cracking kind of way. The television and movie industry chronically presents you with a certain image as being representative of some reality over and over again until you start to believe that the image *is* the reality. For example, Ever notice how actors that are supposed to be playing teenagers are always 4-6 years older than the character? Every time I see a television show with a "teenager", I always want to say:

This is not a 16-year-old.

Our minds are just geared for representative imagery. You only have to vaguely hint that A represents B and we'll accept it as long as there's some similarity. The almost universal response to seeing this painting for the first time is "Yes, it is." It's amazing how persistant that perception can be, even when you're told in very concrete and truthful terms that this is *not* a pipe.

Anyway, I digress. I tend to take a more practical view of Rene Magritte instead of getting into all this high art vs. low art malarky. If he could turn a buck selling a picture of a pipe, more power to him

Edit: Dangit. When you edit a post, it turns parsing back on. I'm glad you've got that nerfed

this is not a french surealist.
René François-Ghislain Magritte was born in Lessines, Hainaut (Belgium).

Hey! She may not be 16, but she may on the other hand quite likely be a goddess, so watch your tongue about Katie, ok?!

PS.
Yes, even more so than Catherine Bell...
