For those of you who may be interested in this topic and do not yet have a copy of this famous 1997 article, authored by Mark Russinovich (of Systernials and Winternals fame) and Bryce Cogswell titled "Windows NT System-Call Hooking," nino (a member here and at exetools) found a copy in the wild and has attached it on the exetools forum. It's not something we can attach here, but it is a widely quoted article, not easily found. If you can't download on exetools (three post mimimun required) PM nino or me and we will try to assist as we can, but we are not a messenger service.
You will find the attachment in the #9 post in this thread:

Thanks to nino and happy reading.
