recently i reformated my HD and made it from a fat32 to a ntfs for win xp pro. before on fat32 olly worked fine but now on the ntfs format i cant get any program to debug or at the very least hit a break point. when i load the app in and hit f9 its as if the app frezzes, so it never fully opens. has anybody else had this prob? if so how was it fixed

Hi,
I changed my hdd from fat32 to ntfs without problems. Maybe your problem is not totally related with that.

Yeah, I agree, it sounds quite unlikely that the problem would be related to that.

Try downloading a fresh copy of it. It may have gotten corrupted

On that same area of discussion, but may have nothing to do with Olly:
When you move from FAT32 to NTFS a new can of worms is opened:
Files and Folders have permissions in NTFS. So dlls, and resources that were widely accessible before, may become restricted to a user or an administrator in NT environment.

I have had a few problems with some apps because of that. Reinstall usually takes care of the problem.
