Hello,

With guidance of questions and replies from crackz (somewhere on this message board, I have managed to get very far in my cracking of a Flexlm 9.2 protected app (unfortunately with CRO, therefore patching is necessary, licensing is secondary).

But I read an interesting point on a 7-part essay pointed out at Crackz' site where the author says that we can put in the public key which we want so that the private key always matches. My two questions are (hopefully, crackz can reply):

1. Where in the heck are the number of bytes consisting of public key stored?
2. And do I have to know ECC mathematically to create a matching private key (in case I decide to create my own public key? - I do know the number of bytes of the keys)

Ufff...This motha is giving me a bad headache...

Have Phun.
