While patching apps is feasible, using IDA, running apps is not for me.

To my knowledge, only apps signed by Microsoft can run. Since patched applications differs from signed apps they will not run on the smartphone.

I read that depending on the device and service provider, you may be able to get it application unlocked (so it will run unsigned apps) by your service provider. For example Orange unlock it via their website.

But I also read that the signed application running check can be patched also. Is it true? How can I run patched apps on a restricted smartphone, without involving the provider?

10x in advance!
