Hi,
My target is using ShareLock and I can feel that I am 90% there. The problem is that the target is written in VB and ShareLock does something that hides the process of comparing the serial. I have extracted the last 5 of a 20 chr password correctly and the app then does something strange.
It "concats" the name I entered with the Location, "and some other stuff" and then compares the first chr with second chr and second with third and so on, untill it is finish. It then pops up with "GET your own serial". What the hell is going on? I have checked it with W32dasm, SmartCh3ck and Olly and cannot find any clues.
Any help or tutorials on ShareLock would be great.
