sup all im new to this place i just wanted to come straight out and say.. when is the best time to trace a call ? say i put my fake serial/name info then it breaks. when i look on the right of the register window in ollydbg i can see my name and serial a lot then it compares then i look back at the main cpu window and i see a call.. would that be the perfect time to call or what ? i hate tracing hella calls and not getting anything

.....and there was me wondering why Ollydbg provides such useless features like searching in memory and breakpoints on memory addresses.

Help!, I'm falling into a vortex of the blatently fu*king obvious.....

Normally I'd write 'Regards', but deleting this thread seems to be about the kindest thing I could suggest ;-).

Howdy,

He obviously doesnt have the latest plug-in for Olly.
The new plug-in will answer your questions with a simple query.

OK, I had to have some fun with this one

Read up on Olly features and you will see how easy it is to
find what you are looking for.
Olly gives you pretty much everything. You just need to know
how to utilize the different windows/features.

Oh ya, tracing hella calls is a way of life with most programs.

Alternatively, you can also try disassembling the file in IDA and looking at that call graphically...

may i know which plugin are you talking about that latest released was one ollyperl by joe stewart and that lurhq guy for thier schmoo conferance

i would like to know if i miss some thing in my collection of olly plugins
