When I search in wdasm with the what peek11 comes up with it never finds it. Peid shows the program to be armidillo 3.00-3.69. thank for any help.

TrainingDay:

Are you actually paying attention to where the hell you are? This is not the Exetools Forum and has no restrictions on downloading. What we DO HAVE is a FAQ which outlines what YOU are supposed to do BEFORE you ask a question and what YOU are supposted to do to TRY TO HELP YOURSELF before you ask someone else to help you.

If you want to find a tut on "armidillo 3.00-3.69" then put something REALLY complex, like "armidillo 3 + tuts" (without the quotes) in you favorite search enging and SEARCH for one your self. There is also a SEARCH button at the top of these Forums.

If you have no clue how to hide OLLY, WHY haven't YOU gone to the Olly Forum and looked for information on hiding Olly? If you do not know how to hide OLLY, why haven't YOU SEARCHED for information on hiding OLLY, here and on the net?

Actually READ THE FAQ, then get off your lazy behind and actually do some of your own work.

And, by the way, I happen to know the evil Administrator on the Exetools Forum and you only need 7 posts to have downloading privileges for attachments.

I have not UPPED anything on the Exetools Forum. Aaron makes those decisions and I just enforce them.

Hello TrainingDay,

I hope you know that Wdasm DOES NOT read unicode. There are patches for Wdasm that promise you that will enable Wdasm to read unicode, but they work spordiacally at best.

I'd suggest you stop using Wdasm. Try downloading a free version of the IDA disassembler. You'll see your strings and everything else there. And besides, Wdasm is not good for disassembling complex programs.

A small word of caution. Understanding that you are using Wdasm and are as yet unaware of hiding Ollydbg, it may be a good idea to stop cracking whatever it is that you are cracking (the a'dilloed app).

Instead, I might suggest you start with cracking the Winzip version 5 and upwards and MIRC version 5 and upwards. Stop trying to crack the program you want to use. Instead LEARN cracking first. In the longrun, there will be NO shortcuts. You have to go through the steps.

Best of luck in your new career

can we create a filter on this board such that whenever anyone tries to post something with *w32dasm* or *wdasm*, their post is rejected and they're told that we don't support that disassembler here?
