Can anyone get me started.
I have a hardlock Key. I do not know which software and instructions
to use to TRY to reverse this doogle, which I do have and own.
Please someone point me in the RIGHT direction.

I'd say the first thing to do is to see if it's got a hardlock hasp envelope. You can do this with a hex editor, if the programs in an envelope, I wouldn't attack it as your first dongle project.
