Hi,

at the moment i try to patch Sice in order to hide it.
Actually my aim is to fool arma antidebug with patched sice.

I tried to apply the old techniques which where used to hide sice 2.7 and below, but it seems to me that this doesn't work any longer.

So have anyone experiences in hide todays sice without using any third party tools like iceext ?

I think i will have to patch ntice.sys siwvid.sys and nmtrans.dll. Maybe there are more files to patch, im not sure actually :/

I hope someone share his knowledge concering this problem.

If im able to patch my sice i will code a ready made patch to contribute it to you guys.

Thanx in advance,

OHP

I know there is at least one quite detailed discussion about this subject in a thread here on the board. A little session of searching and you may hit the jackpot. As far as I remember, it is quite the pain in the ass to plug all the more advanced detection methods though.

I think you're talking of these old threads concering DS 2.7 and below.
You are right, there are lots of threads for this versions, but not for actual one.

But i will do search again...

Hi

Just a suggestion, why don't you briefly list the various Sice detections used for us? Then each one can be looked at independantly, in whatever sice drivers/dll would need to be modified.

Cheers,

That's a really good idea I've played around with hiding SI a bit as well, I think it would be a nice little project (collecting all known SI detection methods and remedy for them)
