Hello, I am a newbie. there's an app in vb 5/6 (based on PEiD 0.93) with no protection. But in order to complete the registration there's a menu to update the code and then restart first and after that click the greyed menu. But after I restart it the greyed menu is still disabled, I've once saw the menu is enabled but after that it stayed disabled. I need a hint here. Thank u so much

Hi
Have you read all the information on enabling greyed menus that already exists on this forum? Use the search function and find at least one complete explanation in a mini project and tutorial on the subject of 'menu enabling'. You should become thoroughly familiar with the window messages that control that first. Then you can worry about any VB specific considerations, if any.
This place *is* much like a library, though it's not always used that way.
