Hello everyone!
right i read the FAQ, and I am going to try and follow it. I have read many many of the tutorials, quite patiently and i am still kind of lost. I have a dongle, it has a rainbow technologies sticker on the back, and on the front ACTIVATOR, patented

this dongle is for a program called ****. The program opens in dos, its really old and so is the dongle, like more than 10 years! so i am guessing it must be quite simple (for anyone that knows what they are doing!) to crack.

Can anyone suggest a tutorial I should read to get started? ie, which is similar to what i have. Because from what i have read, there is cplus? sentinel pro..and i am not sure which i have. i know its very old! and program very simple!

if anyone has time, i am willing to pay for help, guidance..whatever get this thing working

ok thanks, and again, sorry if i have broken any rules, i just cant find the route to get started and need some help, i have no problem in trying this myself.

oh! also i am using winXP, so i am guessing i should try get on a win98? so i can use this famous softice software that seems to do miracles!!??

thanks for taking the time to read. any help much appreciated!

But really!

I think you need to learn how to crack Winzip and MIRC older versions before attempting to hit dongles.

The point here it seems that you are more interested in the crack than the knowledge of cracking.

As the FAQ says, its difficult for any member to supply cracks.

Maybe you should use google instead?

Howdy,

I dont even remember what OS we were using back in 96 but,
chances are that it wont work on an XP box.

If it is strictly DOS based, you will need to have the proper version
of DOS or DOS without windows interference.

I will assume you have the original program that goes with the dongle you have. All you are missing is the secret numbers/letters/combo to allow the program to run.

I have neither the time or inclination to help you with this problem but,
if you look way up top there is a search button to help you.

Think "DOS dongle" or "DOS based dongle" or get the version number of the dongle and try that.

Geez, I am getting too old , I just dont remember this stuff anymore.
If I can recall anything I will post it.

Oh yes, one last thing, offering money to answer your problem will usually net you NIL.

Good material for reading on Fravia's old site: http://www.woodmann.com/fravia/project3.htm

What you have is a Sentinel dongle.

hi, thanks for the posts..
well i am having a go at fravias tut.
but i got a problem already!

i installed softice on win98SE.
i open symbol loader, and do open module..select the file..and i get this error

"******explicit lyrics********* is an unsupported module type. Unable to translate or load this type of module"

did a search for "unsupported module" in the forum, got "Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms."

cant find anything about this..sorry, this must be a really basic mistake from me, but i am just learning. I checked if the file is read only, and it had the tick on read only, so i unticked, i dont know if that would make a difference, but it didnt :S

I can post the files if anyone what to see if they can open it, and let me know where i went wrong.
thanks

If you ACTUALLY READ THE FAQ you would KNOW that having identified your TARGET you MAY NOT post code on this Forum!!!!
