I'm not sure what you're talking about...
W32dasm doesn't exist in 16-bit versione, however, you can with it disassemble 16 bit programs if you like.

My point: use regular w32dasm for Windows 3.1 programs, or get another disassembler that works in windows 3.1.

Yes, but there's a reason it's called w32dasm, you know.

The windows disassembler you mentioned can not disassemble 32-bit programs, (i think?)

Anyways, sorry for the misunderstanding

Hi!

Thank you esther for info about WDasm15.
For your information mr_R_hund and esther, W32Dasm WORKS FINE under win 3.1x (if you don't believe try it). Check in W32Dasm help and you will see this:
"...dialog formats are not completely supported by NT 3.5 and some dialog controls will not display properly.

It will also load on Windows 3.11 with W32s but the debugger operation will be unpredictable."

BTW who cares for debugger. We use Soft Ice. Don't we?

Hey Stanks,
Its important to use the "right" tools for
the right os.Sometimes using w32dasm
to debug is much better than sice.Reverse

Anyways,Happy reversing
