well, im a n00b on this, and had no idea about cracking, im on scn too,
not on cracking but had lite idea.
i was looking some tools released hours agoo STARFORCE.RE.TOOLS.....
about starforce, and just can tell this prot still do problems with some
games.

The idea is this...., i was looking in some pc's, in some mothers is needed
dissconect ide drivers (cdr, dvd, etc..) and dissable this too on windows,
running app like as nightmare for run correctly starforce games, but in some
mothers dont needed, just is needed mount the image and done, this is due
motherboard with chipset nforce act like as modchip on PS & PS2.
Then until anyone can fully crack starforce why not begin to trying make
tools for emulation this part of hard? Maybe skilled coders/crackers can
trick/deceive starforce shit. I think soo this will change soon with new windows
vista due this new S.O cant give privilege to programs for modify or full
access to the S.O.

Well just im n00b on this, maybe im idiot and moron, just want try help
with any idea and open discussion about this.

another thing, just use this thread guys for talk about protection. Isnt for

I wouldnt expect too much of a discusion on this really, those truely interested would have most likly moved on to frontend 4. Those showing interest would be more those who dont really understand it to start with.

The notion is very good But the results are useless if you know what i mean

you might have noticed that this is a rce (reverse code engineering) forum and most of the posters here dont give a damn about whether a game is cracked or if there is just a clone of it.if you are so sad about the fact that less and less games are cracked and you have to use clones or you cant play a game at all for free please go back to nforce or to a similar forum and complain there.
if you are really interested in rce this forum here is the right place for you otherwise not.i really dont see the point of this discussion here.
