well, good question. i've always had the intention to document all the knowledge that manifested in icedump, but unfortunately life/time/mood/etc (or lack thereof) has proved to be stronger than me... thing is, it is simply too much stuff, especially if i wanted to explain to people with little or no background in reverse engineering (win9x/nt/softice), IA-32 protected mode programming, OS design/implementation, etc. as you can see, covering all these topics would easily amount to writing an entire book. so, until life provides me with better circumstances, i will try my best to answer specific questions, or at least give out a few pointers, but i'm afraid the long promised 'technical docs' on icedump will have to wait.
