While browsing around the net I found this website: http://www.smashthestack.org/ They run a wargamming network which a couple of machines one in particular (tux) is completly (20+ with more levels being added) reverse engineering based. It is extremely fun and kind of addicitve. Just thought I would let you all know about it. They also offer services like Free Web accounts, email accounts and shell accounts. This is a very decent site providing a great service for free, and feel that we should help support these kind of activites in anyway possible... keep up the great work!

Regards,

dcuba!

heya,

at least the entry level reminds me a lot on vortex / www.pulltheplug.org which is also wargames / exploit centric and a very damn good place as well.

i can confirm those wargames are an absolutely great (if not the greatest?) way to learn / sharpen those "security skills" lets call them like that

highly recommended from my side, too

PS: the great those communities are, no need for double posting i agree

Here is a challenge for pros, atleast it's done by an antivirus expert, so I would imagine so. I guess the price is only worth something, if you would attend the conference anyway...

Take a look at hxxp://www.t2.fi/pahkina-2006.en.html
