... and I'm no longer the happy man I used to be. It's hardly an upgrade. More like a downgrade

One thing I hate about Opera, is that it now has more and more useless features like the messaging crap and such. If they concentrate on the browser itself, it would excell far better.

The way its been going, we might see another Netscape with all those integration of mail, news, etc (which bloats the program imo)

I have to agree. I've written them several times trying to get them to fix their JavaScript engine to no avail. It still doesn't handle the Java/JavaScript interface properly. Now as to the features added, Mail, News &c. this is good from the useage point of view but may bloat the code somewhat.

I am having a hard time waiting for them to fix this type of problem, so much so that I now run Mizilla 0.6 in preference to Opera.

Magus.

Your right. I use to be happy with 4.xx but now i'm mad. It crashes sometimes. The 4.xx use to be perfect and never crashes. Now I have to try to find another browser that would suit my needs.

before, i was using M$ Internet Exploder. i was happy when i got opera 5.01 cause it's really fast even. but now i'm experiencing the same thing with me when i use opera 5.01. it really makes me angry when opera crashes especially when i hav to restart all over again.
