Hi everybody,
I'm just moving from SI to Ollydbg and have a small problem. I try to write a no-cd patch for my 'Noone lives forever 2 v1.2' but there seems to be some anti-debugger tricks. When I start the file lithtech.exe by double clicking on it, it gives me a messagebox saying that there is no CD. But when I start it from ollydbg (no breakpoints set) it breaks with 'access violation event' and when I disable that (under debugging options) with 'single breakpoint event' and finally 'hardware breakpoint'.
Are this anti-debugging tricks or is it me ?
If people are interested I could post lithtech.exe (1.2M), but I don't know to attach binary files at this forum.
Any ideas ?
