I am unable to get IceDump load properly. I am using SoftIce v4.05,which runs right. When I try to run IceDump I get the foollowing message:

icedump v6.0.2.1 for winice v4.05 build 526 loader
icedump was not loaded yet
VXDLDR failed to load icedump

I would suggest u read carefully the documentation about requirements. However here is a quick advice : Check if u have loaded exports of kernel32.dll, if not do it (exp=<ur windows system path>\kernel32.dll inside winice.dat). This is madatory.

In the case it still wouldn't work we would appreciate more infos such as :

OS build
Softice build
etc....

I checked my winice.dat and the exports from kernel32.dll were loaded correctly.

I am using Windows 98 build 4.10.2222 A
My Soft-Ice version is 4.05 build 334

If you need more info please tell.However I would like to know where to get some docs on IceDump,as I have found none.

According to ur first post u used icedump for SoftICE 4.05 build 526 and now u tell me u have SoftICE 4.05 Build 334. I'd suggest u try to load the correct one (w9x\4.05.334\icedump.exe).

About the documentation check (W9x\Doc\icedump6.txt) for example .
