I was try to upack notepad packed with upx 0.6
what I did first is use softice go to the jmp OEP and typed a [enter] - jmp eip [enter] - [enter]. and quit softice then go to procdump and dump full, but after I change to the right OEP ( entry point - OEP ), THE NOTEPAD STILL CRASH !
anyone know what happed to this program ?

sorry about the previous post, there was a mistake I made it was OEP - Image base, but the notepad still crash

Maybe because the Import Table is messed up!

Try using ImpRec 1.6 Final to rectify the import table of the dumped
process
