Hi all,

I have been a programmer for 20 years but I am new to assembler and OllyDbg. I have been playing around trying to learn how an EXE is doing an expiration test for a trial. I have been stepping through the EXE and see where it is moving the data into the registers, but I do not have enough knowledge yet on how the registers work and what each mean. Could someone help get me started? I am a very fast learner and would be most appreciative.

Thanks ;-)

In 20 years you never used assembly ? Wow.. I learned on Amiga

A good place for Assembly tutorials is http://win32asm.cjb.net/

There is a tutorial on almost everything you could want to learn.
