Hi,

This is going to seem like a dumb question but do the Lena tutes only work in IE?

I'm using Firefox and when I click on the htm file I get this sort of floating message about .."The creator of this movie" blah, blah and the only item I seem to be able to click on is the "Click here to leave" ... which predictably kills off the tutorial

Hi,
I have this message too, but if you scroll a bit down you will see some buttons (previous tuto, reward, play, stop, forward, next tuto).

Regards,

EDIT: I use the latest Firefox too (1.5.0.4)

For some reason they don't seem to work properly for me. I am on version 1.5.0.4 of Firefox. If I click on what looks to me like the 'fast forward' button, the frame moves ahead one step at a time - which is fine.

But the tutorial is not displayed properly ... I'll see if I can attach a screenshot.

Incidentally another good source of info is the CHM archive of the old Olly support forums which are available here ("http://www.woodmann.net/forum/archive/chmfile/OllyArchive.zip")

On the screenshot you did not take the bottom button bar
Here is a screenshot with what let you see the tut properly.

Hi Silkut,

Yes, I can see those buttons, and I can move through the pages of the tute.

The point I was trying to make is that the right-hand side of my tute is cut-off, what you can see in the screenshot, is all that I can see (I can't read all the text).

Thanks

Hmyeah me too, one or two letter are missing. I think it's due to firefox<>flash
=/

I've got it working properly in IE, there is a whole lot of stuff to the right. It's a little annoying that I can't use Firefox but shit happens.

Google SAFlashplayer.exe and use that to view the SWF files outside of IE, Flash works much better when it's not in a browser.

Hi,

I've found the stand-alone flashplayer, but now the tutes4you site seems to be offline, so I'll have to wait for it to come back up (I think I will d/l the tutes then).

I had only started going through the first tute, but it was really well done - and would have been incredibly useful a month ago - would have saved me a lot of unnecessary effort.

If the rest of the tutes are as good as the first one, then I think they're ideal for newbies and some thought should be given to adding a link to these tutes in the 'Sticky for Newbies'. So that they're easy for people who want to learn - to find.
