Hi!
People I'm getting crazy with a hasp key. I'm trieng to get an emulator for a friend. I found the hasp emulator pe by brain studio, instaled, and found passwords(or whatever they are). So everything done until the program shows a tab with something like xxxx:yyyy and there are 2 tabs: the Input HASP API Info and the Output HASP API Info with a line on each table.
This tab came out after I started the program protected by HASP, however the program gave me the usual "Hasp not found -3" and it continues to give me this error.
Guys what should I do to make work this emulator?
PS There was a keygen with this emulator, I put there the same name I have typed when the amulator asked me a "name". The keygen created a .reg file and I added the content of that file to the system registry.
Thanks.

I will help provided you dont revert back incase u dont understand
These are the steps you follows
1. plug the hasp in and start the software. you will get error and password in hasp windows rightclick on password and dump the hasp. you will get a .dmp file.
2. use dmp2reg (dont ask me where to get it) and convert the dmp to reg
3. run the reg file once. start hasp emulator and run the software.
Thats it

okei saber, everything clear. But I did these steps before, I got that error, I saw the passwords, I dumped the key(obviously the hasp key was pluged in). When the program finished to dump the key there was a button that saves automaticly a .reg file. Saved , added to the system registry, and still nothing.
It doesnt create the .dmp ( i searched in the installation directory) it creates directly a .reg file.

IN that case there is something definately wrong. The dump has to be in the form of dmp and you HAVE TO USE DMP2REG1.5 to convert the dmp to reg.
The reg file u are using is to register the emulator not the dongle. when you dump the dongle it will be saved in C:\HaspEmulPE.XP\Dumps.
Anyways good luck.

When installing the first time, there is no directory called Dumps. The emulator creates this directory after it tries to dump the key, however the directory contains only a file called !Info wich contains only this text: "Do not delete this folder!!!". That's all. There is no other way to make this program work or any other emulator that works?
Thanks again

ok once you have installed hasp emulator
click on install hasp emulator driver.
now start the software with dongle
your will get error but you will also get passwords of the hasp
right click on password and select try hasp grab
it will calculate secret table and the show you the type of hasp you have.
now save the dump
now use dmp2reg to convert the dmp to reg
now run the reg and click "install hasp emulator driver" again
thats it HASP 3 works without any problem on Glashas hasp emulator

Thank you saber.
I deed everything just like you said, once more on anothe computer, the same thing everything work perfect the emulator finds the password check for the table. There is a button that sais applay, and other "export dump as .reg"(somehing like this).
The only thing is that i added the .reg to the registry but there is nowhere on my computer, no files with the .dmp, as I said I checked the directory where the emulator is installed

I tried a few versions of the same emulator, even the ine from this site.
I don't understand why it's hapening.
Is there any other dumper that I can use with a hasp key and then to transform it into a .reg file with the dmp2rg?
Any other emulator?
If you have any ideas please let me know.
Thanks again for your help

Howdy,
Have you tried searching for other tools ?
There are a few that are available.
One other thing, not all tools provide the correct dump.

Woodmann:
I tried every dumper, every emulator from your website.
I did a mini html page and put it on to my server for not loading to much with the screenshots the forum:

God, Yesterday after posting the message I received an email telling me that the other server is ready to be set up. So i transfered all the domains on that one. I'm configuring it right now and re-post the message. Bye

It seems that you are going good till picture 7. Now do one thing stop at picture 7 when you have pressed apply and then check the hasp directory for *.dmp file. If u find it then simply use dmp2reg1.5 to convert the dmp to reg. If i remeber it correctly this emulator was never meant to make a reg file. The dmp was to be sent to the author of the emulator who would then send reg file after payment of money, Until some russian broke the registry part. So you will not get the correct registry from glasha itself. look for the dmp file.

No it does'nt work. I did everything again like you said but there is no .dmp file on the installation directory or in the internal Dumps directory. I don't understand why it does'nt work, I have no errors...
However in the readme file of the program i found this (after he explains the final step when pressing applay:
"1. Start HASP Emulator.
2. Press "Install HASP Emulator Driver".
3. Start the protected program.
4. In 0000:0000 to a folder you will see passwords of a key
5. Insert a key in the computer to choose the first combination of passwords
(distinct from 0000:0000) and to press "Try HASP grub".
If the emulator will tell "HASP not found", choose another
combination of passwords while the key will not open.
6. Enter a name of the program and copyright the information and press "Applay".
If your key HASP4 and the protected program uses new functions HASP4
3C - HaspEncodeData and 3D - HaspDecodeData the emulator will create .DMP a file.
Send this file on glasha@brstudio.com"
Does that phrase mean that the .dmp file is created only with hasp4 keys? Maybe that's why it does'nt work, beacuse the key I have is a HASP3?
However I tried every emulator or dumper I found googling but no one of them works...
The proected program is old, the key is a hasp3 one... It must work...
ANy other ideas?

Thanks

I got a dump using hasphl2006, but obviously the dmp2rg doesn't work with this one, do you think it's possible to convert it somehow? I sent the dump to the owner of the program, and he will send me the emulator or the reg , i don't know. However this will be a trial version, for a week. Do you think it will be possible to crack the trial?
I obtained an other .dmp with the hmon tool from this website, but however i can't find a converter...
Sorry for asking all that things...

I have had 3 types of hasp and all of them worked with hasp emulator. Hasp 3 works in the same way hasp 4 works. So a dump has to be there. Anyway hasphl2006 does not seemed to be cracked. As glasha's emulator works fine no point going behind it.

Howdy,
This might be of some help. I will assume that the emulator was found in the wild. I know you are using a crack for the emulator made by a Russian crew.
Now, with the crack it says do not send the dump to glasha.

It appears to me that you have the same situation with tsrh as you do with glasha.
They want money before revealing the important stuff.
Your choices are two,
Stop playing with this crap and get a real emulator, which you will pay for.
OR, RE the stuff you have to make it work.
Someone show me how this emulator with the Russian crack will work by just clicking.

The crack of Glasha's emulator is no longer monopoly of trsh. Infact the dmp2reg convertor was released almost two year ago. Since then almost all the hasp 3 and many hasp 4 can be emulated easily using this emulator.

Hi,
Let me rephrase,
Why cant slacky get a proper dump file ?
Is it because of the russian crack has changed the program ?

Hiya,
A little late to the party I am with this thread, so my apologies.
I still don't really know if its HASP 3 or HASP 4 that is trying to be emulated here.
HASP 3 has no encod/decod(ing) capability, dmp2reg or any of its many cohorts would never be required for the emulator, only a valid registration for the dongle emulator being used. One would be better off trying one of the many HASP 4 dumpers standalone to establish what one is dealing with.
This *confusion* is the result when people try to use off-the-shelf tools blindly without having a passing idea what the hell they are doing ;-), no offence intended to anyone when I say that ;P.
Woodmann, the dumper utility in this emulator doesn't use the target program so its unlikely (though not totally impossible that the 'crack' has prevented a valid dmp being obtained).
Regards
CrackZ.

Hey CrackZ thanks for answering.
The key is a hasp3. You're right I'm one of those people that don't know with what the heck they are dealing with. Ok, I understand how it works, but I don't know the difference between a Hasp3 and Hasp4, sentinel and other hardware keys.
So now, let me understand, how DO I DO to make this emulator work?
The emulator, as I said, asks me if to save the dump in registry(or somethink similar). There is another button to export the dump in to a reg file.
There is a keygen that creates another .reg file.
Help me guys
