I have a 16 bit program I want to "examine".

Does anyone know where I can get a debugger that will handle 16 bit programs?

You can use:
- Turbo Debugger from Borland
- Dldr which comes with Softice
- the good old debug.exe

And WHICH part of the instructions in the FAQ and in RED in the Title of this Forum did YOU NOT UNDERSTAND?

Do not ask where to get the Tools of our Trade. Do not even think about asking for them.

Finding tools and information is why the Diety invented Search Engines. If YOU hadn't been to lazy and/or too anxious to get what YOU wanted,to do YOUR own homework YOU could have put something "obvious," such as "16 bit debugger" (without the quotes) in you favorite search engine and found what you needed.

Now go back and actually READ the FRIGGEN FAQ!

If you are running anything but Win98 or lower - cross Turbo-Debugger off your list - there is a thread here where it's discussed and the conclusion was that it won't run in WinXp.
