Hi drigo,
If you would have searched on this board you would have known that the hasp passwords are hardcoded and cannot be changed.

If you have the HASP dongle programmer, for "old" type of HASP-4 (Cypress chip inside), you can change the passwords, even other functions of HASP-4 M1/M4. The new HASP-4 dongle uses Motorolla chip, and I have not heard if the programmer is available yet. Of course, Aladdin can do it, but the question is are they willing to do it ? (unlikely).

How can i find out, if the IC is a Cypress or Motorola WITHOUT opening the key? Does it give a Tool ? I have searched the HASP API but have not found a Cypress / Motorola "question" .

If you search this forum there is a thread that describes and, yes, outlines a hardware dongle replacement, emulator, and it includes a schematic, albeit, you'll need some electronics experience and some assumptions are required on your end, if I recall there is no included parts list - but reading through the thread should give you a good idea, the thread is about 2 years old and I'm not sure if it's applicable for all dongles, just Sentinel or just hasp - it is a parallel port device.

Hi there,
Use Br Studio dumper (refer to CrackZ site, which is the most "complete" dongle reference on the web), then you can determine what type of IC it is. What I do not understand why you would like to change the password(s) only, as service 02, 3C/3D will not be changed, and there is a high chance that you can not run the program properly. Good luck with your experiment.
