I am new to this stuff, sorry, if this is a dumb question. But I am hearing and reading conflicting things, concerning AMD processors. I have one one my laptop. I want to run W32Dasm, softice, regmon, and also turbo pascal. will any or all of these give correct results, on a AMD processor? If not, do you know of any programs that will work? Thank you very much
Casey

Thanks hz
I'll give it a shot. I have a k6 in my laptop, but I had been told by some local guys that the AMD used a different code, and wouldn't give correct results. It's good to know that it worked for you. As i said, I am new at this, but will read some more tutorials and give it a try. Thanks again for your help

the only problems I've ever faced with my K6 II is that some heavy duty 3D graphics choke. It either ignores them or garbles the output badly (& even that seems to depend on the programmer more than complexity)....but from a reversing standpoint, it's all good ;-)

one thing....I've never been able to get TRW200 to work on my system, I don't know if that's an AMD issue or something else, but SoftIce works so I never really bothered to look into it ;-)

..quick update....I got the newest trw2000 to work on my system. I have a different video card, so I don't know if it's something they solved with trw, or if it just didn't like my ATI Rage Pro II...works w/ my Voodoo5...oh well, at least it works now ;-)
