I made a great mistake in my last message ...

I wrote the word wrong...I do not need the 'CD key number' I need the 'Sentinel Key Number' which is starting with 371*****, it is my poor English combined with my poor knowledge...I am terribly sorry..
I could send you the license file wich puts me in trouble..maybe you could understand my problem better..becouse i thing i can not manage to explain it exactly...

In any case I appreciate all your help..

Best wishes..

That was my old message...
Hi everybody,
Is there anybody who knows how to reverse the code that generates the VENDOR_INFO string from the license key? I have 14 Features and their license information with the Vendor_Info string but I need a CD key number, and I wonder if there is a tool to find the CD KEY number using those features' VENDOR_INFO string?
I will apreciate the help,
Thanks

Hmm - "sentinel key number"???
There are a couple of things that could be wrong.

It's possible that ESRI changed the protection between
8.01 and 8.02. Also, perhaps the license
daemon needs to be started.

If the people that provided your disk sent
a license file, post the first few lines
of it, and I may be able to point you in
the right direction.

The license file you supplied is for use with a modified version of the esri daemon - the
person that you got the filez from should have supplied a crack.zip that contains the
required file to replace the daemon (esri.exe) with. A replacement daemon that had its
own vendor defined hostid was built, so you should follow the instructions that came
with your crack exactly otherwise it won't work. It's also a floating license, so the
FLEXlm daemon must be running in order to use the licenses.

It's more appropriate to discuss the methods used to crack in this forum, rather than
actually providing cracks themselves. I would suggest going back to the person you
purchased the CD from, or at least carefully examining how you installed the software.
The group that cracked this program no longer exists, so it might be difficult to track
the original crack down.

I would check to make sure the license server runs first though.
