Could you reverse a program like spedia and alter the way that it counts your points. Also is there any tuts out there on this subject.

I cracked a version of the AllAdvantage viewbar a long time ago, didn't manage to change the way it counts points however I did make a few modifications:

From the .nfo file from the release:
"This patch stops the viewbar from being on top of other windows when undocked, it keeps paying even if the
mouse stays still, it keeps paying if you don't change website, and it keeps paying no matter what program
you are using! And you don't have to change the titlebar text of your other programs! Also this allows you to open
more than one copy of alladvantage viewbar! I don't know if this pays more, try it and let me know!

Worked pretty well, got £15 from running it whilst I was playing counterstrike, couldn't even see the viewbar

I've spent a little time reversing spedia. Its website recognition algo is very good last time I tested it. I was able to make it undock itself and hide itself but when I made it feed itself fake browser window text it would go into 'Yellow' mode after 60 seconds. Unfortunatly I didn't have enough time to get past that part.
