I am still having problems with IceDump. I traced some of my orignal problems to the way that I extraced the files to the softice dir. I now have the files extracted to the folders w9x, wnt, etc. At any rate this is the deal. In the w9x folders for the diff versions, I have icedump.exe in each folder. Now in the version folders under wnt, I have "icedump" With no file extension. Of course the w9x versions will not fly on my w2k pc. I have no clue as to why I don't get .exe's in the wnt folders like I do in the w9x folders after extraction. I have tried to "recompile" from the included source, sadly I suk at trying to compile someone elses code and I am not really sure that I have all the needed code, and that my borland compiler is compatible. I am using the 2195 build w/service pack1 on w2k running softice 3.24 for NT if that is important to someone that has any ideas what to do. I have d/led the icedump file twice and extracted twice to make sure it was not something stupid. At this point I can't even try to run the program as it seems that I have no program to run. Any help I would be most greatful for.

(oh ya just for the shits of it I dropped .exe on the "icedump" file LOL it crashed but... I expected that)

On Win2K/NT icedump is installed by patching the NTICE.SYS file.
What you need to do is:
1) copy ntid.exe and the correct icedump file to the %SystemRoot%\system32\drivers directory and run ntid.exe from there.
2) restart ntice by rebooting windows
