That's just the new "Google homepage" you can customize to your personal taste. The regular page still appears at http://www.google.com/.

Indeed, I don't really see why a search engine would need JavaScript (I keep it disabled at all times except for trusted sites, and Proxomitron's filters do a great job of cleaning it up...), isn't its most basic interface just a query textarea with a submit button?

Speaking of which, I unpacked a JavaScript packer (yes, they do exist) recently. With nothing but Notepad and my browser
