Hello all,
Im looking for the best of the best to help with a reverse engineering Navigation software project. This is a private project that a few of us from an online Chrysler community forum board are looking to get help with having someone reverse engineer or decode some Navigation software to enable some features in the Navi unit. We have already taken donations from many members on the forum board, so who ever lends their expertise help with this project will be compensated well! If interested, please contact me by pm ASAP.
Thanks! And I look forward to hearing from you guys!

Why don't you post some credentials to prove you guys are not a 0day wanting to break the software?
...And post more info on the software to break.

Aimless I sent you a pm. I cant post to much info publically about the project but whne me and you speak I will give you all details. I can offer a little more info though about the software:
1)The software was written with Metrowerkz c/c++ 2.2.1 for the NECv831 board.
2)We have found the tools that can be used to disassemble the 2 main files that need to be disassembled in order to decode the software.
3)All the tools and files pertaining to the project are already hosted and uploaded on rapidshare.de.
I hope this helps answer a couple of the questions you may have. Again, If interested please pm me and I will further detail the project.
Thanks,
MerC

You can give me a PM too if you need any specific help, nothing like "take a look at this code and tell me what it does". I've done some embedded systems reversing before.

Can I suggest you post a link to the specific forum thread where you've been discussing this (on your own Chrysler forum) so we can take a look?
Your initial explanation leaves out a few variables - is this a patch for a desktop based management app for the navigation system, is this a patch to the navigation system itself, can you dump and write back code to the nav system, is there an emu or some way of testing it without actually owning a Chrysler (not all of us are American), is the Chrysler nav unit a rebranded market model (eg: TomTom, NavMan etc)...
Many questions, the more information you post the quicker people will either respond with interest or move on if they don't have interest or requisite skills.
